2015 Trash Collection Company and Schedule Change
Posted on Dec 21st, 2014

Please note that beginning January 1, 2015 the Associations trash company will change from AAA/Republic to American Disposal Services. Additionally the scheduled pickup for both Trash and Recycling will change to once a week on Mondays

AAA/Republic will continue to provide service through the last scheduled pickup day on Monday December 29th. On the following day, Tuesday December 30th, they will collect both the recycle and trash containers. Please ensure you put both containers, empty, out for collection that Tuesday.

American Disposal will drop off new Trash and Recycling containers on Tuesday December 30th along with a flyer containing additional information on the new service. The Town Homes will receive a 64 gallon trash and 64 gallon recycle container. The Single Family Homes will receive a 95 gallon trash and 64 gallon recycle container. After the initial drop off you may contact American Disposal Services directly to have one or both containers swapped for a different size. All the containers will be the standard, wheeled bins with lids.

American Disposal will also provide additional services such as curb side Christmas Tree pickup after the holidays on selected pickup days and bulk, non-metal curbside pickup on Mondays. General yard waste will be collected at curb side on Mondays for the Town Homes and Thursdays for the Single Family Homes.
Your patience and cooperation in this transition is appreciated. If you are an absentee landlord, please forward this information to your tenant.
If you will be out of town on the pickup day, please leave both your trash and recycling containers at the curb before you leave. The trash container can be full as it will be picked up prior but the recycle needs to be empty.
If you will be out of town the day the new containers are dropped off, please make arrangements with a neighbor to pull them up in front of your garage.
The Board has relaxed the covenants on trash can storage during this transition.
