Message from Autumn Chase Board
Posted on Jun 25th, 2011
On Friday 17 June, the serenity of our community was interrupted by a major incident involving one of our residents.
It is alleged that the man that police detained the morning of 17 June near the Pentagon for claiming to have ammonium nitrate in his possession resides at Autumn Chase Hunt. That was the reason that the Fairfax County Police blocked off the community to search his place of residence. We are unaware of the validity of the incident and have no other specifics. The Board is inquiring with the Fairfax County Police to determine if there exists any threat or potential safety issue that residents should be aware or concerned. They assured the Board that there was no imminent danger and that the case is under investigation. No further details are available at this time from Armstrong Mgt. For additional information, please contact the non-emergency Fairfax County Police with any questions or concerns 703/ 691-2131.
